PLEASE no hair dryers or energy consuming appliances
- What medicine to take? -
The lodge is equipped with first aid kits and the town has a medical clinic in case of serious emergencies but is good to carry a personal first aid kit with you.
Malaria medicine is not necessary.
Yellow Fever Inoculations is recommended but not mandatory in Peru but please check your government regulations regarding Yellow fever.
- Are the bungalows sound proof? -
Our rooms are not sound proof and guests come to listen to the sounds of nature. To listen to music outside the bar area, use headphones. Do not scream or raise your voice unless it is an emergency. Please keep it quiet.
- Can I swim in the river? -
With the proper precautions swimming in the river is fun. Ask your guide if you want to experience a swim in a river of the Amazon rainforest. Do not go swimming in the river without your guide.
- Can I walk by myself in the forest? -
You can walk around the Lodge facilities but only go on the trails with your guide and stay on the trails at all times unless directed by your guide.
- Is there hot water -
We have warm water not HOT water.
- What currencies are accepted? -
We only accept Peruvian soles and new US dollars (staff reserve the right to not accept any damaged bills) Exchange rate is determined by the Administrator, we recommend to bring both currencies.
- Is there credit card facilities? -
Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards at the lodge.
- Are we expected to tip? -
Tipping is not obligatory.
- What happens to our tours in bad weather? -
We reserve the right to cancel any trip or because of weather, unsafe water conditions, or any other circumstances that could endanger the safety of our guests and guides.
- Do we need rain boots? -
We do have a variety of sizes of rain boots free for use (please check if we have your size at the time of your booking)
- Can we have a Private guide? -
Private guides are available at the time of booking at an additional cost per day.
- Can we have a private boat? -
Private boat (Transfers only) are available at an extra cost. If you miss the designated boat due to unforeseen circumstances we can organize another boat at an extra cost.
- How big are the groups? -
Are groups do not exceed 10 people and can be as little 2 persons.
- Can we feed the animals? -
Under no circumstances is it allowed to feed the animals
- Is there Wi-Fi in the lodge? -
We are happy to say there is NO Wi-Fi in the lodge, however there is in the town office.
